I remember sitting in front of the television early Saturday morning, my grandfather was beside me with his head propped on his fist and leg throw across the left arm•rest of his favorite chair. We would sit there in our tighty whiteys watching the weird white guy with the afro painting landscapes. It was then, that I decided to (A) attempt to grow an afro, and (B) become an artist.

After moving to Atlanta in 1996, I attended Dekalb Technical Institute to study Visual Communications and Design. Although I didn't know it at the time but, it would be here that I would put down my pencil and brush and adopt a new weapon of chose. A love affair with photography would soon blossom and it be though the lens of a camera that I would find my voice.

After graduating from Dekalb Technical Institute, I freelanced for two years before attending the Creative Circus, where I learned the business and technical side of photography. While at Circus I begin to focus my talents toward Fashion & Beauty quickly realizing I had discovered a new passion. After leaving Creative Circus, I went on to assist for photographers such as Joyce Tenneson and others before moving to New York where I would shoot for a array of clients and magazines.
